Auto Body Insurance (KASKO)

Kasko Insurance or Auto Body Insurance: In Turkey, owners of motorized and non-motorized vehicles can purchase Kasko Insurance or Auto Body Insurance for their vehicles. This insurance policy has coverage and basic and additional obligations, that is, by purchasing this insurance policy, the policyholder buys a series of basic obligations and can add coverages to it if they wishes. It should be noted that Kasko Insurance can be used for the insured’s (owner’s) car, and in some cases its coverage can be used to complement Trafik Insurance.

For example, if in an accident the person responsible for the accident has Kasko Insurance and the damage he has caused to the other party is more than the limit allowed in the Trafik Insurance, he can compensate the other party’s damage (both injury to life and financial damage) from Kasko Insurance. He can also use Kasko Insurance to compensate for his own damage at the same time and compensate the loss.
